Resort World Sentosa (RWS), touted to be the Asia's Ultimate Destination has just celebrated their Grand Opening ceremony last night. After more than two years of "soft" opening, it is now officially a complete product with fun, joy and entertainment.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is the guest of honour, together with the Genting Group Chairman, Mr Lim Kok Thay, they unveiled a symbolic 8m giant sculpture called Infinity. Former Cabinet ministers George Yeo and Mah bow Tan were among the guests at the ceremony.
In case you don't know, Resort World Sentosa houses Singapore's most popular theme park Universal Studios Singapore (will provide more coverage of this international prestige theme park in subsequent post) and the newly opened Marine Life Park (MLP) (which comprises of S.E.A Aquarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark).
